Good recipe. But I do have a comment on the comments! I am astounded that people change a recipe for a broiled particular and so mutter when it doesn't turn out well. Baking=chemistry. You cannot "decrease the flour and add more than peanut butter" without changing the end result! It is non like soup where yous tin can add some of this and take out some of that... soup will still exist soup, albeit with a different flavor. Cookies and other baked good rely on fairly precise measurements--you tin't simply modify things without the right sort of re-balancing of ingredients. Ok! End of rant.

These cookies are a striking! Merely....I did change the size to just spoondrops and changed the baking time to approx. 9 mins. They came out dandy! The whole family loved them!
09/27/2002
It's true! These are so chewy! I, likewise, dropped them past spoonfuls and baked them for 9 minutes. Hint: Since they don't "spread," you can cram several onto one cookie canvas. That adds up to less baking! Definitely try these!
12/14/2009
These turned out not bad! For a Christmas cookie, I replaced i cup of chocolate chips with ruby-red and dark-green Grand&Ms. To get awesome texture, I chilled the dough thorougly, rolled the dough into 1/4 loving cup size balls, pressed some M&Ms on acme, and then baked at 350 for nigh 18 minutes. Looked like they came from the store bakery! Oh, and I replaced the corn syrup with honey.

This was a great recipe. My husband is a peanut butter freak. When a batch of cookies lasts more so a week, I know its fourth dimension to detect some other one. I made these final nite and they are gone by 9am this morn. I didnt use fries though. I had a bag of peanut M & M's and added them instead. I also forgot I left some in the oven. I expected them to be little rocks. The were even so as chewy and soft as they should have been. Thank you Kathy!!
12/24/2002
I didn't detect these any different from any other peanut butter cookie. Usually with this dough i wrap information technology around a hershey osculation and then ringlet in powdered saccharide before i broil them. I think i like information technology that manner better.
01/30/2003
I added 1 cup crunchy peanut butter and decreased the choc chips to approx. 1 1/3 cups. Took them to work and received rave reviews. I used a scoop that was a tad over i Tblsp. I broiled them at 350 for 10-11 minutes. One batch I used a fork to crisscross. They came out fine but did not present every bit well as the scoop. This is a keeper!
06/29/2002
These cookies are very chewy and moist if you are not a crispy cookie person. My husband and kids all loved them and gave rave reviews on sense of taste and how chewy they were.
11/26/2007
According to my boyfriend and his family unit... these cookies are "perfect" and "addicting". I replaced the chocolate fries with peanut butter chips for the extra peanutty flavor... and they've already requested I make them again :-D Wonderful recipe!

Later so many glowing reviews and cute photos, I don't know what more I tin can add together to this except for another thumbs up, assuming I have a fair amount of brownie. These. Are. Awesome proficient. Thick and plump with appealing raggedy edges and tops. Gooey, chewy, peanut buttery and sinfully chocolate. Just looking at them makes you want to grab one and wolf information technology, and once you lot practice, yous're glad you did. None of the regrets y'all thought you lot might have if you lot did. These are the cookies Adept, talented, old-fashioned domicile cooks used to make (and some of course, still do) and come up with all the wonderful memories of some of those cooks, times, tastes and aromas associated with those days. I can't say plenty most these. You want to know what I inverse virtually the recipe? Absolutely nothing. Know what I'll alter when I make them once more? Y'all're correct - absolutely zippo. I know some peeps here in Naples who will have very appreciative, chocolaty, smiling faces tonight. And that makes me happy.

Awesome! I did as other reviewers did and decreased the flour to about 2 cups and increased the PB to almost i loving cup. I sell my broiled goodies for extra cash and these are one of the summit sellers! I added toffee bits instead of choco chips. ***My big secret to successful cookies: Ever substitute one/2 the ammount of butter called for in any recipe with shortening!!*** This makes them lighter and puff up more while withal having the richness from the butter. Besides, ALWAYS chill dough first to keep from spreading besides much!
02/24/2008
5 stars all the way on this 1! Chewy, fluffy, and delicious. Honey the chocolate chunks instead of regular chocolate fries, they look then nice. Perfect corporeality of peanut butter flavor if y'all ask me. Followed the recipe exactly (for once) and they turned out beautifully. Well, I guess I did arrange the size. Fabricated ane bath of ane/8 cup ones, baked for 12 minutes. Those were huge, so I used my cookie scoop for the rest with a ix minute baking time. Perfection!
05/28/2003
I made these for a company picnic & everyone was still thanking me the adjacent week at work! I made them smaller and with milk chocolate chips. They bake up soo thick & chewy. I besides added 1/4 cup extra peanut butter... yummy! This is a must for any chocolate peanut butter lovers!
12/01/2009
What a bizzare mix of reviews here...this in and of itself fabricated me want to endeavour the recipe. I'm in the 'dry and cake-like' camp. At that place was obsolutely nothing chewy (or addictive) well-nigh these cookies. I did cut back on the flour and increased the peanut butter. The only thing that I can think of that could requite such a variance in the reviews is the type of peanut butter used? I used natural. Will not brand these again.
05/06/2002
i establish that this recipe had a severe error! your cooking time, temperature, and the size of the cookie is wrong! the cookie is too big and the temperature is too hot! information technology burns the bottoms merely never cooks the centre! also, xiv minutes is as well long! please fixz this error before anyone else ends upwards with the worst cookies in the world
12/23/2010
Great recipe! I've made it twice. The starting time time I followed the recipe exactly and it was pretty tasty. The next time I made it with an actress generous spoon full of peanut butter, 1-1/two cups of brown carbohydrate (no white carbohydrate), 1 Tbs. vanilla, and i cup of mini chocolate chips. It..Was..Awesome!!
08/18/2009
These are ok... edible and soft. However, they don't taste very peanut buttery, and rather than the soft, chewy texture I was expecting, they turned out very dry out and cake-like. I ended up giving them all away to neighborhood children, because my husband hated them and I couldn't stomach eating the entire batch. I followed the recipe exactly as written.
01/28/2005
Used 1C peanut butter, 2C flour, and 1 ane/2C chocolate chips. Lowered the oven temp to 350 degrees and baked for eight mins. Also used my mini ice-foam scoop and yielded half dozen dozen cookies!! The cookies came out perfect, were chewy, and very tasty. The season was balanced -- not besides much peanut butter, and non likewise much chocolate. Just correct. This 1 is a keeper.
05/16/2011
I simply made these terminal nighttime. They were great and my whole family thought then too! I had all the ingredients besides corn syrup, and ended up substituting it with two tbsp. of honey. Worked great! I also used less chocolate fries. Thanks for the dandy recipe!
12/19/2009
My 3 twelvemonth onetime daughter and I made these using the suggested changes of ane cup Atomic number 82 and lessening the flour to 2 cups. Instead of chocolate chips we used the Christmas M&Ms and reserved about 1/four cup of them for her to put on the tops of each cookie. Nosotros too used a smaller cookie scoop (1 TBS?) to brand the balls and and so kinda flattened them with the spatula as they came out. They were fun to brand together. I also froze half the dough in a roll to come across how that would work out if I always wanted to make them in big batches. The only drawback to this is that when you piece the cookies - you inevitably cutting some of the M&Ms. (Also, if you use this method - yous can wait till they soften a little on the pan and your kids can still add together some 1000&Ms)
04/24/2009
I've never rated annihilation nether a iv on this site, merely I accept to say the championship of this cookie is very misleading. A). It isn't chewy, it'due south very block-like and B). It doesn't gustation like peanut butter at all. I think that mayhap people's definition of a "chewy" cookie must vary, because like 1 reviewer said, they should ascent slightly while cooking and then sink apartment while cooling. Slightly underdone in the middle. These maintained their spoonful shape, and even rose a little highter than that. The result was a somewhat dry out, cake like cookie that didn't have much peanut butter taste to it. Next fourth dimension I will search for just a bones peanut butter cookie recipe and add together chocolate fries to it.
09/30/2002
I was looking for a recipe that duplicated cookies like the ones our local bakery makes, and, boy, did I find it. Since I was really in the mood for a patently peanut butter cookie, I omitted the chocolate chips and increased the PB to three/4 cup. The dough was very soft, so I refrigerated it for almost an hr or 2 before baking (broiled at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes). The texture of these cookies was absolutely perfect! I remember side by side time I'll attempt a dissimilar brand of Pb (used Jif extra crunchy this fourth dimension). The crunchiness was smashing, but I would dear a really rich PB taste, and this batch didn't quite have me reaching for a second drinking glass of milk. Thanks for the recipe.
01/03/2011
I customized this recipe based on some of the other comments, and am glad I made these changes: increased peanut butter to i cup, decreased chocolate to 1 cup, i-1/2 cups dark-brown sugar (no white), honey instead of corn syrup, and 1 tbsp vanilla. They are rich tasting, moist, and have a practiced balance of peanut butter and chocolate. I plan to give some of these my crush, and I think they'll be a striking! Note: I used ane/4 c. of dough for each cookie per the directions, merely the yield was only xviii, non 24.
06/02/2011
These cookies are wonderful! They stay nice and gooey, if you want them to. Or just bake them a little longer for firmer cookies. I sent a double batch to my husband in Afghanistan, and he said one of his NCOs said they gustation similar "beloved all mushed upward and baked". I did change the cookie sizes. I rolled mine into balls simply a little larger than a tablespoon, and just baked them for starting at 9 minutes. When the bottom edges *just* first to plow golden, have them out for epic gooey goodness. I broiled some a little longer, because my dad loves his crunchy. This recipe is a keeper.
01/02/2006
I tried peanut butter chips instead of chocolate with a 1/four cup more peanut butter and they were keen. My whole family loved them include some who are not fans of peanut butter cookies. They were notwithstanding chewy 6 days after I made them.
01/17/2006
The dough is nice to work with, equally it is light and non tough or glutinous like another cookie recipes. I utilize a one/2 cup less chocolate chips but it all depends on how chocolate chipy you lot similar your cookies. It's not as peanut buttery every bit some other peanut butter cookies, but I prefer it this way every bit the peanut butter gustatory modality is not overwhelming. For a little actress chew you may want to cutting two minutes off the suggested baking time. Everyone I gave them to liked it. I would definitely make this again. Thanks a lot for sharing. :-)
03/08/2003
Really easy and good! I used 1&one/3cup milk chocolate chips, and pure peanut butter (no other additives). I was worried they wouldn't be sweetness enough using the pure peanut butter merely they were corking. The merely thing with this recipe (as with all peanut butter cookie recipes) is that you really accept to stay close to the oven to make sure the bottoms don't get brown. I baked them on a pretty low setting (300 degrees) and they were done in about 12 minutes.
08/22/2007
Delicious!! I made them smaller and cooked them 10 minutes. They are so moist and just perfect!
02/01/2011
Fantastic, Chewy, Divine! I used 1/two choc. chips, 1/2 p.b. chips :) Mmm mmm good! I used my reg. Tbl. sized cookie scoop and placed them 1.5" apart, they did merely fine, not a lot of spreading. Baked for 10-11 min., cooled on the baking sheet for a min. or ii, so to a wire rack. I dearest the cracked advent these go when they cool! Perfect sweeteness & a perfectly chewy cookie! Goes dandy west/ a large ole glass of milk!
07/29/2011
The All-time! Slight changes I fabricated; increased Pb to 1 cup, used all brown saccharide, decreased flour to 2 ane/4 cups. I used a mixture of mini chocolate chips and M&Ms. Rolled them into assurance, flattened ever-so-slightly with a cup dipped in white sugar and topped with a few more Yard&Ms. Baked at recommended temp for xi minutes. These turned out BEAUTIFUL and TASTED Fifty-fifty Ameliorate. Yummy!
11/24/2005
These are delicious but the recipe needs some tweaking to be five stars, imo. I hold that it could do with more peanut butter, and - dare I say it? - less choc fries. They weren't as chewy as I expected, but I don't mind that. I'll brand these again. Thank you, Kathy!
04/18/2012
I made these for Easter and they were eaten upward quickly however I have to say that these cookies did non gustation like peanut butter at all. They tasted merely similar regular chocolate chip cookies. I even followed the reviews and added i cup of Jif peanut butter and used just brown sugar. I was actually disappointed in this recipe.
10/04/2005
A puffy cookie that encases the chocolate fries.
01/29/2011
I made these today and they are gone tonight, I followed the recipe and added one 1/ii loving cup of onetime fashioned rolled oats and took the advice of others and fabricated the peanut butter 1 cup they were wonderful with crispy edges and chewy middles. Girl and college roommates came to visit today and when they left "accidentially" took the container with them much to my husbands disappointment. Estimate what I will be baking tomorrow. With a recipe this quick I really don't mind thanks for sharing.
05/24/2000
These are by far the BEST peanut butter cookies I have ever fabricated. They broiled upward big and soft and chewy!
06/fourteen/2011
These are good simply I didn't read the reviews before making them and I learned quickly that they burn if yous melt them for 12 to 14 minutes as stated in the recipe. They but need about nine minutes. Otherwise they are like little bricks.
01/14/2006
These were very good and chewy! I used 1 loving cup of peanut butter and 2 cups of flour. I flattened them out similar others suggested too. Thanks for the recipe!
01/23/2012
These cookies have a great texture... soft and chewy (my favorite)! However, I tin can't even taste the peanut butter in them. I will make them once more, and follow the adjustments some other reviewer made, past doubling the peanut butter and cutting back on the chocolate fries a bit.
12/29/2010
This is best cookie recipe I've ever used! I made one batch with chocolate fries and another batch with toffee, and both were chewy and delicious, ever DAYS later. Thanks and then much, this will definitely be my go-to cookie recipe from at present on. =)
11/27/2005
When I showtime tried these, I didn't like them. Still, after letting them sit down for a day or so, I liked them more. I would make these cookies again. Still, if you desire a stiff peanut butter flavour, I would add more to the recipe, because I tin inappreciably taste the peanut butter.
03/09/2003
I fabricated them regular sized (tablespoon+)and they were awesome. We had company and they wanted the recipe. The first fourth dimension I made them I cooked them at the "correct" temp and they didn't spread or rise much at all. The next time I lowered the temp to 350 and they spread more, we couldn't decide which way nosotros liked them better.
05/12/2002
I have fabricated these cookies SEVERAL times and have used an ice cream scoop to brand them nonetheless size. Aye, they are large, merely I have NEVER had them burn in my oven. They accept exactly fourteen minutes and come out cracking. If I accept them anywhere, there are none to bring home.
06/03/2010
The title tells no lies, these are perfectly chewy cookies. Smashing texture and bakes off great (doesn't flatten out in the oven). This is a keen pb base for adding mix-ins. Instead of chocolate chips, I put chopped up peanut butter cups in this dough. Nevertheless, I recall it really needs the chocolate chips to ready off the peanut butter season. Either that or use some dark chocolate peanut butter cups. The combination of more pb/milk chocolate with the lead flavor in this cookie only struck me as a little banal.
01/24/2005
This recipe was fantastic! Thanks for sharing. I did however subtract the flour to 2 1/4 cups, and increased the peanut butter to ane cup. Baked for 11 min. They were fabulous!!! Very soft and chewy, only problem is .....they don't last long..at present you run across them, now you don't!
06/28/2009
FINALLY, after years of searching, I have found the perfect peanut butter chocolate chip cookie! This cookie is the perfect balance betwixt a chewy and soft cookie. I recall the peanut butter taste is perfect simply if you similar ALOT of peanut butter taste, information technology is easy to add together a bit more peanut butter! YUM!
09/thirteen/2011
I used my cookie scoop & got 44 cookies! They're very skillful, altho non huge on pb flavor the first day, by the 2nd day they were/are perfection! Baking time was spot-on! I honey that they're soft & chewy merely don't autumn apart when you pick them up. Thank you!
12/04/2009
My son loved them, my husband did non at all. They were a footling sweet and doughy to me.
08/04/2012
I didnt add corn syrup because I was out, added actress peanut butter. These were wonderful!!
07/27/2006
I accept never been successful in making chocolate chip cookies before i constitute this recipe. it was so fun to take them out of the oven and they not be flat :) They were really proficient to! i have already made them twise and volition probably make them many more times. thanks for sharing -*Eileen*-
06/eighteen/2008
My family went goo-goo for this cookie. I loved the size as it worked great for my husband'southward co-workers. I thought I tasted a bit of soda, merely my married man said he didn't. I may attempt some of the peanut butter chips with the choco fries next time also. YUMMO!
03/21/2013
This was a hit with my son, cookies came out cracking, chewy, & soft. I did non add 2 cups of the chocolate, only used a little over a cup and they were perfect!!
08/05/2011
These are amazing!!! And there was just the right amount of peanut butter!
11/30/2002
This recipe is the best e'er
12/06/2008
This recipe works as a base of operations for a good chewy peanutbutter cookie... Changes: -Double peanut butter if you lot reall like to have the taste, I too apply chunky to give the cookie more than texture -Take out 1/ii cup flour -1/2 the amount of chocolate chips -An I personally like to apply honey instead of corn syrup. We too had to bake longer only our oven tends to be that way for everything. After the changes I would give the recipe a 4 stars (I recollect I would use a lilliputian less surgar and add even more peanutbutter next time)
01/18/2012
Add me to the reviewers who were very disappointed in this recipe. The batter tasted so good and I was so excited because chocolate and peanut butter are my thing and I dear chewy cookies. I simply don't sympathise how 1 person makes it and it comes out chewy and my are not chewy at atll. Volition not brand again.
04/03/2011
These were delicious. I do recommend putting them only in the oven for 10 minutes, otherwise they get also brown.
08/07/2009
In response to the last review (JAMESDAVE), I think it was extremely harsh. These cookies were EXCELLENT. They had a great peanut butter season, chewy texture and a great remainder between chocolate and peanut butter. It may exist possible the reviewer didn't follow directions. And remember DAVEJAMES, sometimes it not what yous say, it's how you lot say it.
07/29/2009
Super chewy and rich! I followed the recipe exactly and wouldn't modify a affair!
05/03/2003
These were really good. Very chewy and chocolate-y, but could have used more than peanut butter - volition add 1/4-1/2 cup more next fourth dimension.
01/01/2009
Made merely as written using a 1/four scoop. Cooked for 12 minutes at 350. Turned out excellent, and this coming from someone who never become's cookies right!
x/07/2009
thought these were terrible.
02/20/2000
I loved these! You lot can make smaller cookies too.
03/14/2007
got great results
12/12/2010
Groovy Texture. These cookies are soft and very easy to brand. They could exist a touch sweeter, but they have a good peanut-y flavor.
08/23/2006
They're more like block than a cookie and all the flavor simply gets sucked out when you lot bake them. This is the second fourth dimension i made them just to be sure i did it right and they still came out unsatisfactory.
05/12/2000
These cookies are absolutely succulent. The first time I made them I knew they were going to be a winner. They look and smell wonderful and the gustation! oh my goodness, it is out of this world. This will definitely be a part of my cookie collection for a long time to come.
04/08/2002
These are keen!
07/08/2011
These turned out to be the BEST cookies I've ever made! I added some pecans, but kept everything else exactly the same. Wonderful!
07/04/2008
This was a skilful recipe, I liked the size of the cookies. Not your average wienie little cookies, nice human sized ones for my hubby. I inverse a few things, some reviewers mentioned the peanut flavor wasn't strong enough so I doubled the peanut butter. I used a heaping teaspoon of baking soda, doubled the vanilla, omitted the water and used beloved instead of corn syrup. With the changes, it volition exist a permanant recipe with my family. Thanks!
07/09/2009
Good cookies but not great. I added a piddling actress peanut butter and used bloodshot chocolate. I might make again just maybe use a piffling less flour so they will spread out some and be chewier.
11/12/2010
Every bit much as we dear peanut butter and chocolate in this business firm, I was surprised that I had never tried this recipe. Followed information technology every bit written, and it is the best. Soft, chewy, not flat, peanut buttery goodness!
x/14/2007
Yummy! I tweaked it only a bit. Instead of 2T water, I added Irish Cream instead. Information technology gave it just a hint of complementary flavor. And I baked them in a jellyroll pan instead of individual cookies. My family unit has eaten half the pan already and they aren't cool yet. Thank you for a nifty recipe!
03/01/2010
As recommended by other reviewiers, I increased the peanut butter to 1 cup and decreased the flour to 2 cups. This Still didn't attain the true peanut butter cookie base of operations I was looking for...more than like a chocolate fleck cookie, with subconscious peanut butter.
05/04/2011
These are THE perfect cookie--and addictive is the fundamental word. I never get cookies to stay chewy and fresh for a couple of days after they are made only these exercise!! People are asking for them- I remember I could sell them. Changed nothing except used half peanut butter chips and half chocolate fries. Admittedly wonderful!!!!!
12/18/2008
I made these but doubled the peanut butter and cut the chocolate to 1 cup. Large hit with the 7th grade form.
03/xxx/2003
These were positively yummy! I doubled the recipe, and used chocolate fries instead of the chopped chocolate. There were actually too many chips (there wasn't plenty dough for them to "stick" in). My husband LOVED them, and he is pickier than the kidlets! I will DEFINATELY make these once more!
04/20/2007
These were great for Chiliad&M cookies! I used 1.5 cups of candy instead of the chopped chocolate. Too, I used a cookie scoop and fabricated 36 cookies which baked in the 375 degree oven for 9 minutes. Perfect!
10/25/2006
I started past making these for my ex, but they chop-chop turned into everyones favorite. Ive fabricated them for the light-green room at a convention and now have requests to brand more and more each yr. My electric current boyfriend loves them so much that he near nabbed a few while they where in the freezer before this past weekends convention. Never inverse the recipe except for using chocoloate chunks instead of fries. Slap-up season, but do concur with the fact that they dont have a peanut butter taste actually. Love the texture. Dont cook the whole time watch for brown edges and they turn out better I think.
04/11/2010
This recipe is astonishing with a few changes. I increased the peanut butter to i 1/iv cups and decreased the flour by 1/two cup. They are chewy and delicious! I will brand these once more....and once again....and again... :)
10/02/2010
These cookies looked and then proficient in pictures, just did non taste how I expected them to. They turned out much more than block like than I similar. They were described as chewy and they were not....Very disappointed!!
11/25/2010
Succulent just I would definitely add together more peanut butter next fourth dimension because you can barely gustation it!
09/16/2008
Was confused by the reviews, but gave information technology a shot- followed the recipe exactly, just went overboard with the peanut butter on purpose. Turned out like cute shop-bought cookies, they spread perfectly and were gilt chocolate-brown on the edges. So easy to broil (approx. ix minutes for large tablespoon-fuls). Fabricated them for a work meeting, and they were a huge hitting!! They stayed chewy and delicious. Wonderful recipe, thanks!!
11/25/2002
This cookie was great! I tin can never observe a really adept chocolate chip cookie recipe (which I love), but this one is yummy.
02/08/2003
Wow! I was looking for a moist and chewy peanut butter cookie. These are swell. With i cookie you are filled up so I volition probably subtract the 1/iv cup drop. These cookies are so easy to make and even so await so professional when they come off the pan. Yummy!!!
04/27/2011
These are awesome, and I love the fact that they stay chewy. I fabricated the recipe equally is, but volition demand to conform this next fourth dimension and see if they're simply as adept if I add more peanut butter. Some of our guests didn't seem to realize they were peanut butter cookies.
01/22/2011
Followed the recipe, simply doubled it. I rechecked it later the starting time batch came out flattened instead of stack-like as in the motion picture, and I had followed the recipe correctly. Not sure why they didn't stay mounded, merely they baked faster and got likewise dark at 12 minutes. Decreased size and bake fourth dimension, and they are better, but still flat. Non what I expected.
03/fifteen/2012
YUM...I'yard in the process of making these at present. They are fabulous! I didn't have white sugar and then I substituted with boosted brown sugar. Too, I used a med. size Pampered Chef scoop to place on pans and baked for 9 minutes.
12/01/2011
These were really delicious!! I used crunchy all natural peanut butter, and choclate chunks. YUM. They were gobbled upwards past my brother and husband within an 60 minutes!! I too cutting dorsum on the sugar just a bit. (I always do this one adjustment, and still tastes Only as good). Only matter I would change for adjacent fourth dimension would be to utilise a bit more peanut butter...I LOVE peanut butter, and while the sense of taste was there, if you are die hard PB fan like myself, you volition probably want more!! Other than that, perfection :)
02/06/2010
These were wonderful! Exactly the kind of PB cookie recipe I was looking for. I took the advice of other reviewers and added 1 cup of PB and cut the flour to two cups. To ensure they stayed chewy and soft longer, I cutting the white carbohydrate to one/4 cup and added an additional 1/4 cup of brown sugar (dark, just my flavor preference) and broiled for no more than 9 minutes. I also didn't make the whopping 1/iv cup size cookies, only used a regular cookie scoop. I would make this recipe over and again.
02/18/2011
Delicious! I used Splenda instead of carbohydrate and used mini semisweet chocolate chips. I volition definitely make these again! Thanks!
10/21/2005
OMG!!!!! I made these and my entire family couldn't stop eating them. I used dark corn syrup instead and they turned out great!
04/16/2011
Very good texture...only the way a cookie should be. Very subtle peanut butter flavor, which is the only reason they're not getting a "5". I like to really taste the peanut butter!
01/17/2011
These were good but you lot cannot taste the peanut butter in them . i dont htink I will be making these once again.
06/04/2008
These turned out great. I made them for the guys at work and there wasn't a crumb left over. I thought they tasted much better the second day then the night I made them.
05/12/2003
I really enjoyed this recipe. I likewise used Peanut Chiliad&Chiliad's as one reviewer suggested and instead of using what is commonly chosen peanut butter these days, I used the all natural peanut butter. The combination added a wonderful salty/chocolatly flavor, satisfying the salty/sugariness craving. I did observe that ane/four cupfull was a scrap large. The middles stayed a big too gooey for my taste, simply friends said they liked them that style. I'll be making these again, perhaps a bit smaller. This was piece of cake and succulent. I agree with calculation more pb and less flour. It turned out perfect!!!

these cookies were pretty expert but I did double the Peanut Butter and I would also advise using only i or i.5 cups of chocolate chips. They kinda kill the peanut butter taste. Also don't cook any longer than 10min if you make smaller cookies!

Thank-you Kathy, these cookies tasted great and were chewy, every bit you lot said. I increased the peanut butter serving to i 1/two cups...equally suggested by others, and reduced the flour to only 2 cups. I also reduced the cookie size of 1/4 cup...as suggested past others too...just a tad smaller. This was the first time I ever made peanut butter chocolate fleck cookies, even though my beau has been begging me for them, and they turned out slap-up. He loves them!!! A tiny suggestion for others though: Y'all might want to reduce the amount of chips in it by 1/2 a cup...esp. afterward reducing the amount of flour. Thanks once again Kathy! :)
