Children's Poem About A Giraffe

I really savor writing poems nearly animals—especially animal mask poems. One thing I always recollect about is the most prominent feature(southward) of sure animals before I determine what to say in my poems. So…when I wrote the following ii poems well-nigh the giraffe, I thought about its height/long neck and proceeded from there.

GIRAFFE

Giraffe is very tall—
just has a vocalization so small
you never hear him
bark or roar,
sneeze or snore,
screech or howl,
grunt or growl,
caterwaul…
or e'er say a word at all.

Perhaps because his head'south then high,
his sounds become lost upwards in the sky.

Tall TALK (A Mask Poem)

I am taller than alpine.

I'm the tallest of all

The mammals that live on the land.

I can nibble the leaves

From the tip-tops of trees

I think existence tallest is yard.

My caput is so high

That it touches the sky.

I tin wink at the birds every bit they go flying past.

I tin can nuzzle the clouds,

Feel the get-go drops of pelting,

Enjoy the fine view from this lofty domain.

With my head at this superlative

The whole world is in sight!

I think being tallest is grand.
